Equity partners continue to be disproportionately white men. New figures from the National Association of Law Placement show that in 2018, just one in five equity partners were women (19.6%) and only 6.6% were racial/ethnic minorities.
With these troubling statistics in mind the Colorado Defense Lawyer’s Association has assembled a distinguished panel to help attorneys explore equity partnership, including strategies to achieve equity partnership, the pros and cons of equity partnership, and the various types of equity partnership arrangements that exist.
