Nathan Rose, Principal Accident Reconstructionist Explico Nathan Rose is an accident reconstructionist. He has been reconstructing vehicular crashes for 27 years, and he is currently a Principal Accident Reconstructionist at Explico. Prior to joining Explico in 2022, he was a Principal Accident Reconstructionist at Luminous Forensics, a crash reconstruction, forensic engineering, and forensic visualization firm that he co-founded in 2019. He also held positions as a Principal Accident Reconstructionist and Director (2005-2019) at Kineticorp, and as an engineer (1998 to 2003) and a senior engineer (2003 to 2005) at Knott Laboratory. Mr. Rose holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Colorado School of Mines (1998) and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado at Denver (2003). He is accredited as a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR), and he has offered expert testimony as a reconstructionist in courts around the United States. He has published numerous technical articles and two books related to vehicular accident reconstruction. His books are titled Rollover Accident Reconstruction and Motorcycle Accident Reconstruction.
