2025 Annual Conference - 08/01/2025 to 08/03/2025 Ms. Birkholz presently serves as the Deputy City Attorney overseeing the Litigation Department in the Aurora City Attorney’s Office, Civil Division. Her litigation practice includes defending tort and constitutional claims filed against the City of Aurora and/or its officials and employees. Prior to her position with Aurora, she worked as a Senior City Assistant City Attorney for the Denver City Attorney’s Office, handling the same type of litigation. Prior to relocating to Colorado, she practiced in Missouri and Illinois, working exclusively on the defense side, litigating all types of personal injury actions, including premises liability, medical malpractice, and automobile collisions.
