Emily MillerNathan Dumm & Mayer Ms. Miller earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2016. During law school, she was Managing Editor of the University of Denver Water Law Review. She also initiated two federal lawsuits on behalf of an indigent client in prison through the University of Denver’s Civil Rights Clinic. This litigation led to the vacation of the client’s life sentence and release from prison. Following law school, Ms. Miller clerked for the Hon. John L. Wheeler in Colorado’s Eighteenth Judicial District. She assisted the judge in managing a busy civil docket. After clerking, she worked as an associate at Lee & Brown, LLC and specialized in workers’ compensation and complex subrogation recovery. Her current practice at the firm includes representing government entities as well as litigating construction defect, employment, premises liability, and auto liability matters. She practices in Colorado state and federal district and appellate court. While her practice is primarily in Colorado, she also practices in Arizona. In her spare time, Ms. Miller enjoys seeing movies at Denver’s independent cinemas, seeing shows at the Denver Performing Center for the Arts, and skiing or hiking down the mountains. | |||||||
