Hillary Patterson is an associate attorney at Patterson Ripplinger, P.C. Her primary practice is in first-party and third-party insurance defense litigation including insurance good faith/bad faith, insurance coverage, property damage, appraisals, personal injury, and other general liability matters. Her other practice experience includes appellate work, defamation/libel claims, copyright infringement, and ride-share/TNC law. She has taught several courses on various subject matter for continuing legal education, including legal billing, ride-sharing law, and depositions. She has also given instructional seminars to industry professionals on insurance law basics in Colorado. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado. Hillary has served in several positions for the CDLA Board and committees over the last five years, and presently serves as the Treasurer on the CDLA Executive Board. Outside of the legal profession, Hillary is also an accomplished collegiate women’s lacrosse umpire and mother of two children.
